Damiano was in Italy this week for a very special event: the 75th Sanremo Music Festival. The singer was lined up for the second night of the festival, which starred with a press conference where he was surrounded by names such as Carlo Conti, Cristiano Malgioglio, Bianca Balti and Nino Frassica.
Damiano officially opened the second night of the event by singing the track Felicità, as an emotional tribute to Genovese singer Lucio Dalla, who passed away in 2012.
During Damiano’s performance, the screen went black and white, surprising viewers. At the end, the singer broke the tension by smiling and saying: “Mamma mia, thank you!”
Damiano joined the stage again at around 10:30 PM to perform his single Born With A Broken Heart.
